The Arete Book Award Scholarship

The Theta Lambda Chapter of the Eta Sigma Alpha National Homeschool Honor Society annually presents the Arete Book Award Scholarship to a graduating senior who has been a member of the club chapter for at least one year and who will be attending a four year college or university in the fall.

The Arete Book Award scholarship prize money is disbursed to the selected student in the second semester of the freshman year of college, after a review of the student’s college transcript.

The Arete Book Award Scholarship is bestowed on the basis of academic merit and evidence of high achievement in academic and extracurricular pursuits.  Financial need is not a determining factor, however, the award committee may take such need into consideration in making the award decision.
